  [S21] Other Researchers - Chris Van de Byl. I think this information is from Phyllis Chamarette. She gives this date as birth, but also gives the date 12 Oct 1843, but I'm not sure what it refers to since it preceeds the birth. She also gives witnesses to baptism - J Cox, J R Naile and Eleanor Cox. If this is true, his second baptism into the RC Church in 1974 is perhaps questionable? [S66] Other Researchers - John Rhys, N2/55/169. Aged 30 - presumably so that he could marry in RC Church. Parents given as George (sic) and Grace Plumbe. [S66] Other Researchers - John Rhys, N2/55/178. He was 27, she was 20 (note that he admitted to 30 when he was baptised). Both resided in Bangalore. Witnesses were Edward Pereira and Samuel Anattuoro (?). In the wedding immediately following this one in the register a witness is an Arthur Moraes.
